We recently did a post on Adventure Medical Kits and specifically mentioned Heatsheets, a product they distribute in their survival tools line. I’m shedding light on this post/release because when a company starts making a splash this early to the industry (a release targeting OR in SLC this January), you can rest assured they are going to make a pretty aggressive push to the consumers. This may be a product you are going to want to keep an eye on, especially if your clientele includes winter backcountry enthusiasts and backpackers. Here are a few of the highlights of the post list below.

Highlights:
1. Heatsheets® blankets are constructed of aluminized polyethylene to make the products more tear resistant and quieter. Competing blankets are made of Mylar and polyester, both of which can rip easily and crinkle with noise.
2. Heatsheets® are recyclable and made from FDA food-grade LDPE-4 resin. The Heatsheets® printing partner holds an Environmentally Preferred Rating.
3. This micro-thin reflective insulating layer is capable of returning up to 95% of the body heat you would normally lose as you sleep.
