Glenn Buchan
Glenn lives in Grand Junction, CO. Glenn started in the outdoor industry “back when flannel was considered technical clothing,” and his retail career includes stops as shop manager, buyer, owner, and sales representative. Having worked at SmartWool Corp. since 1996, Buchan is largely credited as one of the original pioneers in the merino wool revolution. Buchan held several positions with Smartwool, however in the end, he gravitated toward the product development. In his latest role as Sock Merchandising director he was critical in building SmartWool’s performance sock category by creating the best fitting, most comfortable socks for mountain athletes. Buchan’s work for SmartWool established him as a leading authority on merino wool in the outdoor and snow sports industry and beyond. Because of this, he is referred to by many as “Dr. Wool.”
Zach Branson
Zach Branson lives in Georgetown, Colorado. He has been a manufacturer’s rep for 14 years. Zach is originally from Utah where he developed a retail background in ski and sporting goods while obtaining his education. He also worked as a river guide during this time. He moved to Colorado in the late 90’s and was an associate rep for ThorLo. Prior to joining Mountain Source in 2004, he was a sales rep for the agency that represented Merrell Footwear, ThorLo, and other outdoor lines.
Bruce Gordon
Bruce lives outside Denver Colorado and grew up in Hawaii surfing and mountain-biking. In 1993, while his wife was 8 months pregnant he made the rational decision any great father-to-be would, move to Colorado… so he could learn to snowboard and fly-fish. His wife admits he really didn’t “get it” at first, but she has helped teach him how to balance things in life. He has been in the active / outdoor sport industry since 1985 and has been a sales “mangler” for some of the better brands in the industry.
Carri Wullner
Carri lives in Park City, UT, and is certainly no stranger to mountain town living. Before Park city she lived in Steamboat Springs, CO. and Jackson, WY, where she coached snowboarding and was a sponsored athlete with Burton Snowboards. Prior to joining Mountain Source in 2008, she was with SmartWool as in-house Rocky Mt. Dealer Service Rep and a Field Service (Tech) Rep for Timberland, SmartWool, GoLite Footwear, & Mion, where she worked with retailers doing clinics and events.
Deb Davies
Deb Davies lives in Idaho Springs, CO. She has been with Mountain Source since June 2007. Prior to joining the agency, she served as Office Manager for Vision Quest, a mountain guiding service based in WY. Before that she owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast in Idaho Springs and managed Runner’s Roost in Denver.
Sharon Matt
Sharon Matt lives in Park City, Utah. She has been with Mountain Source since 2000. Prior to joining the agency, she managed claims representatives and support staff for eight years in the health Insurance industry with The Travelers Insurance and United Health Care.
RJ Guiney
RJ Guiney lives in Park City, Utah and is the agency principal and sales mangler. RJ has been a manufacturer’s rep for over 30 years! He concentrates on working with specialty accounts in the sporting goods, snowsport, and outdoor specialty sectors. Recently he’s been delving into social influence marketing, but is still a self proclaimed neophyte. In the early 80’s, RJ was a buyer and department manager at The Sports Den in Salt Lake City, UT.
